1-57987218 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicates an exposure to a pesticide containing the active ingredient brodifacoum. Approximately 12 hours before the time of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter stated his 10-week-old, male, Pit Bull Terrier dog of unknown weight ingested a small amount of the product and at the time of initial contact, the dog was not acting himself. The reporter was advised to seek immediate veterinary care as the symptom might be related to the exposure. On follow-up call two days later, the reporter indicated he had sought veterinary care, but the dog died during treatment. No additional information is available.
