On 24-Oct-2019 the animal owner sprayed the cat topically with the Zodiac Flea and Tick Spray for Cats and Kittens 45 minutes prior to the report. The owner suspects that the cat may have groomed the product off of herself as the cat began salivating excessively. The owner then bathed the cat with a non-insecticidal pet shampoo and fed the cat. The cat stopped salivating excessively and was otherwise asymptomatic. No veterinary intervention was needed. No further information was received for this case.
