The following was reported: Coughing started around November 9, 2019 and we thought it was kennel cough so when it got worse over the next couple days we decided to take him in. He was making an awful noise while breathing anytime he moved around. He could not put any pressure on his front paw the evening before we took him in. When we took him to the vet on November 12th his windpipe was almost completely closed up and he had massive internal bleeding. We left him at the vet clinic overnight with a tube down his throat to keep his airway open and on oxygen. They also administered multiple doses of K1 but it was too late. The vet said it was either major trauma (hit by a vehicle) or rodenticide. He passed in the early hours of November 13th. We do have a blood sample that we may decided to have tested.
