Immediately after the product was applied on November 12, 2018, the dog developed symptoms. About 3 hours later, the owner bathed the dog with oatmeal shampoo. Soon after, the dog's symptoms resolved. The next day, on November 13, 2018, the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS). The APSS assistant stated that some animals can be more sensitive to the ingredients and can experience a dermal reaction. The APSS assistant stated no treatment was necessary and recommended the owner call back with questions.
