O - Unclassifiable/unassessable
The information regarding the death of the cat was casually provided during an inquiry. The level of information is extremely low. Nevertheless death and neoplasia (unspecified tumor) are inconsistent with pharmaco-toxicological product profile and experience. Product has wide margin of safety. Oral LD50 in rat is 642 mg/kg BW. 24-fold overdosage tolerated by cats without showing any side effect. The cause of death may have been neoplasia. The product has no carcinogen potential. No necropsy was performed and animal details are unknown. Time to onset is unknown. Considering low level of information, a product relation is unassessable.
