1-56584749 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicates an exposure to a pesticide containing the active ingredient iron (present as ferric phosphate). One day before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter applied the product to the lawn and her 2-year-old, 8-pound, male dog of unknown breed had access to the lawn, but an exposure was not witnessed. On the day of initial contact, the reporter indicated the dog had vomited several times and seemed like his stomach was painful. The reporter was advised to seek veterinary evaluation as the symptoms could be consistent with an over-ingestion of the product. On follow-up call four days later, the reporter indicated she had sought veterinary care for the dog who was treated, but the veterinarian could not determine a diagnosis. The reporter indicated the dog's symptom lasted about 24 hours. No additional information is available.
