1-56077016 - The reporter, a veterinarian, indicates an exposure to a pesticide containing the active ingredient bromethalin. Approximately one day before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter stated a 60-pound, male, Beagle dog of unknown age ingested 1 ounce of the product. On the day of initial contact, the dog presented to the reporter because he was having muscle tremors. The reporter was advised to treat the dog symptomatically and monitor for additional neurological symptoms. The reporter was unable to be reached on follow-up call 2 days later. On follow-up call three days later, the reporter indicated the dog developed seizures and died. No additional information is available.
