The oral LD50 in rat is 642 mg/kg BW. 20-fold overdosage tolerated by dogs without showing any side effect. The product has no carcinogen potential. Signs likely associated with the exceptionally old age of the patient (14 years old Great Dane). Case reported more than 10 years after event occurred. Despite some information is missing (time to onset, necropsy report), considering overall aspects, signs are deemed unlikely product related.
