1-55824418 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicates an exposure to an insecticidal shampoo containing the active ingredient D-phenothrin. Approximately four months before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter used the product to bathe her 2-year-old, 8-pound, male, Maltese dog and an unknown amount of time later on the same day, the dog bred with a female, had a seizure and died. The reporter was advised this is not an expected reaction to normal product use. No additional information is available.
