1-55744616 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicates an exposure to an insecticidal spot-on product containing the active ingredient (S)-methoprene. Approximately ten days before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter applied the product to her three domestic shorthair cats of unknown age, weight and gender and approximately one day later, all three cats had hair loss at the application site. The reporter was advised to bathe the cats as this is not an expected reaction to normal product use and seek veterinary care should the symptom persist. No additional information is available.
