9/21/2018 9:49:31 PM A pet owner reported her dog may have killed and chewed up a rat that was exposed to a bromethalin-containing bait. The exposure to the rat occurred sometime between 9 am and 6 pm that day while the owner was at work. Within the 2 hours prior to the call the dog became clingy and was lip smacking. Continuing to monitor the dog at home for persistent signs was recommended. No further information was received in this case, so the outcome is unknown.
