On 22 October 2018 the pet owner applied K9 Advantix II large to her 4 year old, 18 kg, female neutered Portugese Water Dog in 3 spots along dorsal midline. Vitamin E was applied at the same time. This dog had received K9 Advantix II previously on unknown dates. Another dog in the home was also treated and had no reaction.

On 28 October 2018 the dog developed an application site scab at one of the application sites. The pet owner bathed the dog and applied polysporin without medical advice. The outcome is unknown.

B - Possible Would not expect scab development directly related to product, however, likely dog scratched at site and caused the skin lesions by self-trauma. Pruritus was not reported, however considering application site involvement and consistent time to onset, a product connection is deemed to be possible.
