(eg. description of the frequency and severity of the symptoms

Between May 20, 2018 and May 22, 2018 (within 24 hours of the product being applied) the dog developed vomiting. The dog vomited 1-2 times daily until May 23nd when he vomited 5-6 times. The owner stated that they did not know if the dog vomited any more on May 24th. On May 24, 2018 the dog developed inappetence (loss of appetite) and started ingesting grass. The owner then contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS). The APSS veterinarian stated that we can see if there is a potential for mild and self-limiting gastrointestinal (GI) upset if licked off when wet. The APSS veterinarian also stated that we would not expect the pet's signs to be related to this exposure. The APSS technician recommended the owner take the animal to a veterinarian (to determine the cause of the dog's symptoms), have the veterinarian call for information, and to call back with questions.
