3 hours later the dog became very anxious/restless, rolling on the floor and rubbing against the walls. She treated with Vitamin E and cold compresses but this did not have any effect. The pet owner administered some Benadryl and Gabapentin. This helped for a few hours but was not enough to control the itch. On Sunday night the pet owner washed off the product with some detergent.

B - Possible Though would not expect generalised skin disorders after topical application, reported restlessness, rolling and rubbing may reflect paresthesia caused by permethrin. Considering consistent time to onset, a product connection is deemed to be possible.
