On 24-May-2018, a neutered, male, Pug dog of unknown age and weight, in unknown condition, with no known concomitant medical conditions, was administered a partial tube of K9 Advantix II Medium Dog (Imidacloprid-Permethrin-Pyriproxyfen) via the topical route by the animal owner.

Death is not expected in dog after product application, as inconsistent with pharmaco-toxicological product profile. Very low level of information (age, medical history and necropsy not available) as the intent of the phone call to Bayer was to ask about another pet, not to report the death in this event. Previous product application was well-tolerated. Other causes are more probable. Overall, considering long time to onset (> 7 days), product connection is deemed to be unlikely.
