1-52449936 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicates an exposure to a pesticide containing the active ingredient corn gluten meal. Approximately 1.5 weeks before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter indicated his 83-pound, 3.5-year-old, male, mixed breed dog ingested an unknown amount of the product, and has been since been lethargic, anorexic, and vomiting. The reporter indicated he has taken the dog to a veterinarian where hypercalcemia was discovered. The reporter was advised to continue working with his veterinarian to find the cause of the dog's symptoms as the product has a low level of toxicity and is only expected to cause minor gastrointestinal upset. No additional information is available.
