1-51646465 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated her dog was exposed to a rodenticide containing the active ingredient diphacinone (present in free form or as a sodium salt). An unknown number of days before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter indicated her 12-year-old, 70-pound, male, mixed breed dog might have eaten some of the product. Starting four days before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the dog began vomiting. The reporter was advised to seek immediate veterinary attention for the dog due to the persistence of the clinical signs. The reporter was not available on follow-up call three days later. On follow-up call four days later, the reporter indicated the dog was taken to the veterinarian, but died before he could be examined. No additional information is available.
