1-50652232 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated her dog was exposed to a pesticide containing the active ingredient bromethalin. Approximately 24 hours before the time of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter indicated her 6-year-old, 18-pound, female, Dachshund dog ate an unknown amount of the product. At the time of initial contact, the reporter indicated the dog had green in her stools, but was otherwise normal. The reporter was advised to get immediate veterinary care for the dog as she could have ingested a toxic amount of the product. The reporter was not available on follow-up call four days later. On follow-up call five days later, the reporter indicated the dog had died after being hospitalized. No additional information is available.
