On October 26, 2017, the owner applied the product to the dogs. Soon after, the cat developed symptoms. The owner then bathed the cat. Within 30 minutes of the product being applied, the cat passed away. The owner then contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS). The APSS veterinarian stated that the main concern is for the permethrins in the product and that cats are very sensitive and can develop tremors and seizures. The APSS technician recommended the owner call back with questions.
