The APSS veterinarian recommended the regular veterinarian give methocarbamol (oral or rectally), starting with 100 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg), then give 50 mg/kg ever 30 minutes if no improvement, bathe the entire cat with dish detergent, and provide thermoregulation to ensure temperature stays normal, especially after bath.
