Death

19. Provide supplemental information here

O - Unclassifiable/unassessable A dermal reaction at the application site may occur in a particular sensitive animal. However, time to onset and localization unknown. Death is inconsistent with pharmaco-toxicological product profile and experience. Product has wide margin of safety. The oral LD50 in rat is 642 mg/kg BW. 20-fold overdosage tolerated by dogs without showing any side effect. Veterinarian did not suspect any relation of product to death of the animal. Animal was old and ill. Hence other causes should be considered. Time to onset is unknown. Though application site reaction may be product related, although information is limited, a relation with death is considered unlikely. Overall, the case was considered unassessable.
