On July 10, 2017 the pet owner applied K9 Advantix II medium to their 5.6 kg, male neutered, 7 year old Yorkshire terrier. Within 24 hours the dog began to scratch at the application site. The symptoms resolved after several days. The client reapplied K9 Advantix II medium on August 10, 2017 and within 24 hours of application the dog began scratching at the application site and there was reddening of the application site and irritation at the application site. The symptoms resolved without treatment several days later. The dog had K9 Advantix II medium applied on May 10 and June 10 without incident.
