On June 3, 2017 the pet owner applied Advantage multi 55 and K9 Advantix II large dog to their 4 year old, male neutered, 20.8 kg Golden retriever/ standard poodle dog. The day after application the dog developed scabs on the back, redness on the back, and itching on the back. The symptoms faded after an unspecified time. Both Advantage multi and K9 Advantix were applied again July 3, 2017 and the dog became red and itchy all over and he developed scabs. The outcome is unknown.
