On September 24 2017 , a 17.6 kg, 4 year old female neutered canine cross with concomitant medical conditions of chronic skin allergies , was applied one tube K9advantixII large dog topically by the owner; a few hours after application, dog had application site itching and developed application site scab;unknown outcome

Whereas skin reaction at application site, e.g. itching may occur in sensitive animals, would not expect scab development directly related to the product. However, likely linked to scratching at application site which caused sign by self-trauma. Considering short time to onset, a product connection is deemed to be possible.
