a few hours after application, the dog had application site itching and general discomfort and vomited once; dog was examined by a veterinarian on July 5 and had application site erythema and was treated with oral prednisone

B - Possible Reported application site itching and erythema most likely reflect local dermal sensitivity to the product. Discomfort is very unspecific and may represent a behavioural response to the product sensation. Reported vomiting is rather unspecific sign and expected after oral uptake than after dermal application of the product. However, considering short time to onset, an oral uptake cannot be excluded. Overall, a product connection is deemed to be possible.
