1-50092626 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated her cat was exposed to an insecticidal spray containing the active ingredient tetrachlorvinphos. An unknown amount of time before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter applied the product on her 1.5-year-old, male, domestic shorthair cat of unknown weight. Twenty minutes after application, the cat vomited once and was foaming at the mouth. The reporter indicated she wiped down the cat to remove the product and at the time of initial contact, the cat was asymptomatic. The reporter was advised minor gastrointestinal upset might occur from accidental product ingestion, and veterinary care should be sought if the symptoms persist. No additional information is available.
