1-49929921 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated her cat was exposed to insecticidal collar containing the active ingredient tetrachlorvinphos. An unknown number of days before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter put the product on her 6-pound, 4-year-old, female, domestic shorthair cat. Approximately six hours after application, the cat experienced rapid breathing, acting dazed, drooling, panting, and eventually respiratory failure and death. The reporter was advised this is not an expected reaction to normal product usage. Necropsy was discussed with the reporter. No additional information is available.
