On October 4, 2016 the cat developed hypersalivation, so the owner called the company who recommended providing the cat with a taste treat. The owner provided a taste treat to the cat and the hypersalivation stopped. The company assistant stated hypersalivation can occur after the topical application of any flea and tick product to a cat. The company assistant also stated symptoms expected to be mild and self limited.
