Caller treated area of her home and her cat laid on the area and licked himself. He developed symptoms throughout the same day. Propharma stated neurological symptoms can develop 30 minutes to 12 hours after ingestion and can last up to 72 hours. If she sees any neurological symptoms, she should take the cat to the DVM immediately for supportive and symptomatic care. No long term health effects are expected, call back with any questions or concerns.
