Subform VI: Packaging Failure

The packaging failure involves a small hole in of a number of bottles of our Scotts EcoSense Bug B Gon Concentrate product which is produced in the US. Some of the bottles were found to be leaking when they arrived at our wholesaler in Canada. The products in question are not in the Canadian marketplace and the defect was caught before they were shipped to any retailers. There have been no consumer incidents. The potential exposure was to individuals involved in the transportation and/or storage of the products, though no adverse affects have been reported. All of the potentially affected products have been inspected and all products found to be leaking have been disposed of using appropriate PPE. The cause of the leak was identified and corrective action was implemented.
