(eg. description of the frequency and severity of the symptoms
1-48397293 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated her cats were exposed to an insecticidal spot-on product containing the active ingredient (S)-methoprene. One day before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter indicated she applied the product to her two cats: one male and one female, both are 7-years-old, 10-pound domestic shorthairs. An unknown amount of time later, both cats developed hair loss. The reporter had already bathed both cats. The reporter was advised this is not an expected reaction to normal application of the product and if the symptoms continue, veterinary care should be sought. No follow-up was done. No additional information is available.
