1-47456294 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated her cat was exposed to an insecticidal spot on product containing the active ingredient (S)-methoprene. Two days before the time of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter indicated she applied the product to her 10-pound, 3-year-old, female, domestic longhair cat. An unknown amount of time later, the cat developed hair loss and redness at the application site. The reporter was advised to bathe the cat or seek veterinary attention if she is unable to remove the product. The reporter was advised that the product has little to no toxicity to mammals. The reporter could not be reached on follow-up call two days later. No additional information is available.
