1-46388738 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicates his dog was exposed to a pesticide containing the active ingredient pyrethrins. Five hours before the time of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter sprayed the product on his plants, and his 1-year-old, 60-pound, female Border Collie dog may have licked some of the applied spray. One hour before the time of initial contact, the dog vomited, had difficulty walking, lost bladder control, became lethargic, and seemed to be going in and out of consciousness. The reporter was advised that mild gastrointestinal upset might occur from the described exposure, but the neurological symptoms would not be expected. The reporter was strongly advised to seek immediate veterinary care for the dog. No follow-up was attempted. No additional information is available.
