(eg. description of the frequency and severity of the symptoms
1-45175401 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated her cat was exposed to an insecticidal spot-on product containing the active ingredient (s)-methoprene and permethrin. The evening before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter applied the product to her 15-pound, 4-year-old, female, domestic longhair cat. That same night an unknown amount of time after application, the cat started shaking and not walking well. The reporter was advised that the product is not intended to be used on cats, and the cat should be bathed immediately with dishwashing soap to remove the product. The cat should then get veterinary evaluation to treat her symptoms. On follow-up call one day after initial contact with the registrant, the reporter indicated the cat was bathed at home, then brought to the veterinarian where she was monitored for the day. The reporter did not think the cat was treated with anything, and indicated she is fine now. No additional information is available.
