1-44872902 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicates his dog was exposed to a pesticide containing the active ingredient ferric phosphate. One day before initial contact with the registrant, the reporter stated his 2-year-old, 15-pound, male, Chihuahua dog ate an unknown amount of the product after getting access to the container. On the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter stated the dog was having diarrhea, tremors, lethargy, and would not get up. The reporter was advised that the product contains a form of iron that could be toxic to dogs and was told to get immediate veterinary care for the dog. A message was left for the reporter on a follow-up call three days after initial contact as he did not answer. On follow-up call four days after initial contact with the registrant, the reporter indicated he had taken the dog to a veterinarian on an unknown date where they made the dog vomit and the dog was fine afterwards.
