1-44461362 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated that her dog was exposed to a pesticide containing the active ingredient potassium salts of fatty acids. The reporter stated her 3-month-old, 30-pound, female, Newfoundland dog accidently ingested some of the product one day before the initial contact with the registrant. On the day of initial contact, the reporter indicated the dog was lethargic, had a runny eye and runny nose, and vomited. The reporter was told the product might cause mild gastrointestinal signs upon ingestion, but this is expected to be limited. If the symptoms persist, the dog should receive veterinary care. On follow-up two days later, the reporter stated the dog had been taken to the veterinarian where no treatment was given. The symptoms lasted about 24 hours. No additional information is available.
