a 15 month old male 57lb labradoodle was treated with 1 tube of k9 advantix II on may 2nd. the product was applied in multiple spots on the base of the neck/between the shoulders. note this is an underdose and the product should have been applied in multiple spots down the back.

On may 9th, the dog presented to the veterinary clinic with pyotraumatic dermatitis on the dorsal neck (in the area of the application sites) and had been scratching at the application site (unknown duration). The affected area was clipped and treated with Eye and Wound powder and the dog was prescribed oral antibiotics
