1-44123810 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated that his dog was exposed to a weed preventer containing the active ingredient Iron (present as FeHEDTA). The reporter said his 10-year-old, 25-pound, male, West Highland White Terrier dog was on the treated lawn 36 hours after the product had been applied, which was one day before initial contact with the registrant. On the day of initial contact with the registrant, the dogs left eye was closed and he was rubbing it a lot. The reporter was advised to seek veterinary care for the dog as the product can cause ocular irritation. No follow-up was attempted. No additional information is available.
