(eg. description of the frequency and severity of the symptoms

On an unspecified date in Oct 2015, the dog died of unknown cause. It is unknown if a necropsy was performed. The reason for the initial communication was to ask about product use on a different animal and not to report the death of this animal. No further information is expected. Case is closed.

To be determined by Registrant

18. Severity classification (if there is more than 1 possible classification

Death

19. Provide supplemental information here

Death is not expected in dogs after product application, as it is inconsistent with the pharmaco-toxicological product profile. Time to onset is too long (approximately 2 months). No other signs reported that could have led to fatal outcome. Very low level of information available (age, weight, state of health and necropsy details) as the time of reporting is very long (3 months). Moreover, the intent of the call to Bayer Animal Health was to inquire about product use on a different animal and not to report the death of this animal. Hence, other etiologies are more probable. Overall, considering all aspects, a product connection is deemed to be unlikely.
