1-42936401 -The packaging failure involves a small hole in of a number of bottles of our Scotts EcoSense Path Clear product which is produced in the US. Some of the bottles were found to be leaking at the lug and sprayer attachment area when they arrived at the warehouse in Canada. The products in question are not in the Canadian marketplace and the defect was caught at the warehouse before they were shipped to any retailers. There have been no consumer incidents. The potential exposure was to individuals involved in the transportation and/or storage of the products, though no adverse affects have been reported. All of the affected products (all produced during a single production run) have been placed on QC hold and are undergoing thorough inspection prior to being released. All products found to be leaking will be disposed of using appropriate PPE. The cause of the hole in the bottle is still being investigated.
