(eg. description of the frequency and severity of the symptoms
1-42734207 - The reporter, a registrant employee, indicated that a farmers ewe had been exposed to two different seed coatings one containing the active ingredient thiamethoxam and the other containing the active ingredients fludioxonil, metalaxyl-m, azoxystrobin and thibendazole. The reporter indicated the 75 pound, pregnant ewe ingested about 10-15 pounds of treated corn. The reporter was not sure when the exposure happened but thought it may have occurred on the morning of initial contact. At the time the information was relayed to the reporter the farmer had indicated that the ewe was not feeling well. The reporter was advised that the active ingredients have a wide margin of safety but with ingestion gastrointestinal upset is possible. The reporter was further advised that large ingestions of corn could result in GI upset and symptomatic and supportive care was recommended for any severe or persistent symptoms. No additional information is available.
