(eg. description of the frequency and severity of the symptoms
1-41464076 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated that his four cats were exposed to an insecticidal spray containing the active ingredients tetrachlorvinphos and methoprene. The spray was applied to the reporters three 13-week-old, female, littermate kittens and to another male kitten, from a different litter, five days prior to initial contact with the registrant to treat an active flea infestation. The male kitten never had any symptoms from the exposure but one day prior to initial contact with the registrant one of the female kittens passed away (Subform III #1) and on the morning of initial contact another female kitten passed away (Subform III #1). None of the three female kittens had ever been to a veterinarian and at birth all the other kittens in the liter passed away except these three. The reporter was advised that there are numerous possible causes for sudden death in young unvaccinated kittens that had not been dewormed and have an active flea infestation. Veterinary care was recommended to help determine an underlying cause and appropriate treatment. No additional information is available.
