Reported signs vocalisation, pulling out hair and listless are unspecific and may have various other causes. Death not expected after product application, as inconsistent with pharmaco-toxicological product profile. Product has wide margin of safety. Oral LD50 in rat 642 mg/kg BW. 24-fold overdosage tolerated by cats without showing any side effect. This cat received 20 mg Imidacloprid/kg topically. The time to onset of 2 weeks allows the exclusion of any product relation. Although a necropsy not carried out a product relation considered as unlikely.
