On 15-Jun-2013, a 10 year old, 58 pound, intact female, English Bulldog canine, in good condition, with no known concomitant medical conditions, had 1 Seresto Large Dog collar (Flumethrin-Imidacloprid) placed around the neck by the ownerOn 19 Jun 2013 the dog was found deceased. A necropsy was performed on 13 July 2013. The results of the necropsy revealed: 1.) Cystic endometrial hyperplasia and suppurative endometritis with bacterial colonies present. 2.) Extensive fatty degeneration of myocardium. Diagnosis: Pyometra was probably the immediate cause of death. No more information is expected. Case is closed

N- Unlikely Time to onset quite short, however, death is neither expected nor in line with pharmaco-toxicological product profile. A necropsy was peformed and determined the cause of death in this patient was most likely due to pyometra. Therefore, a product relation is unlikely.
