1-41255747 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated that her dog was exposed to an herbicide containing the active ingredient ferric HEDTA. The reporter applied the product to her lawn one week prior to initial contact with the registrant. The reporter's 18 pound, 11 year old Schnauzer dog vomited on the day that the product was applied. Then over the next couple of days the dog developed diarrhea and had several more bouts of vomiting. The reporter was advised that persistent vomiting and diarrhea is not expected from exposure. There are numerous possible causes for vomiting and diarrhea and veterinary care was recommended to help determine an underlying cause and appropriate treatment. No further information is available.
