1-40999779 - The reporter indicated that she was exposed to an insecticidal product containing the active ingredient potassium salt of fatty acids. The reporter applied the product outside her home one day prior to initial contact with the registrant. She was not wearing gloves and during application she scratched the back of her leg. A few hours later her entire leg was itchy and by that evening she had a rash covering her neck, scalp, legs and groin. On the morning of initial contact she had taken Benadryl but symptoms were still worsening. The reporter was advised that there are numerous possible causes for a rash and given the severity of the symptoms she was describing medical attention was recommended. On follow-up call, one day later, the reporter indicated that her doctor prescribed a steroid and symptoms were now improving. No additional information is available.
