1-37906444 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated that his dog was exposed to a rodenticide containing the active ingredient diphacinone. The reporter stated that on the day of initial contact with the registrant his 25 pound, 1-year-old, male, Pit Bull ingested an unknown amount of the product. The reporter was advised to take his dog to the veterinarian where the antidote, vitamin K1, could be given. On follow-up call, four days later, the reporter indicated that his dog cut his foot either on the day of initial contact or the following day and it bleed more than usual. The dog became lazy and then died at home three days after the reporters initial call. No veterinary care was provided. No further information is available.
