On an unknown date post application, in 2013, the cat died. It is unknown if the cat was euthanized or if a necropsy was performed.Due to the sensitive nature of the communication, specific relevant event details were not obtained, nor will such be sought. Death

19. Provide supplemental information here

The information regarding the death of the cat was casually provided during an inquiry. The level of information is extremely low (product and animal details, medical history, chronology and necropsy not available) as the phone call communication was to discuss a current flea infestation and not to report the death of the cat. Nevertheless death is inconsistent with pharmaco-toxicological product profile and experience. No signs of allergic/anaphylactic reaction reported. Product has wide margin of safety. Oral LD50 in rat 642 mg/kg BW. 24 fold overdosage tolerated by cats without showing any side effect. Animal was at the height of life expectancy for the species and unknown if the animal was euthanized however need for euthenesia is not expected upon application of product. Time to onset is unknown. Considering all aspects, a product relation was considered unlikely.
