19. Provide supplemental information here
Reported sign hypersalivation may have numerous other causes in cat. No oral exposure reported. Death not expected after product application, as inconsistent with pharmaco-toxicological product profile. Reliability of data is questionable due to limited information (animal details, chronology, necropsy not available). Without necropsy, it is impossible to establish, if any role played by the product in death of the cat. Other etiologies are more probable. The reason for the initial call was to discuss product use on a new pet and not to report death of this cat. No signs of allergic/anaphylactic reaction reported. Product has wide margin of safety. Oral LD50 in rat 642 mg/kg BW. 24-fold over dosage tolerated by cats without showing any side effect. In the end a product relation seems unlikely.
