1-38313895 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated that his dog was exposed to an insecticidal spray containing the active ingredients tetrachlorvinphos and methoprene. The pet owner applied the spray to his 4-year-old, 15 pound, male Pomeranian four days prior to initial contact with the registrant. The dog did not eat that night and he hid in the closet and growled at the owner. The following morning the dog was found dead. The caller treated his other 2 dogs, a Chihuahua and another Pomeranian, at the same time, without issue. The reporter was advised that the described symptoms are not consistent with exposure to the product and a necropsy was recommended to help determine an underlying cause for death but the body was no longer available. No further information is available.
